Yet elegant and look exuberantly stylish in your tuxedo

As a continuity of my previous article about a classic white dinner jacket, I would like to share with you other alternative options for your dinner suit jacket (tuxedo).

A dark green velvet dinner jacket (click here to read more about dinner jackets) is an appropriate choice for your black tie attire also it maintains the level of formality and elegance of your look, besides its quite captivating and stylish statement.

Obviously, velvet is a type of woven tufted fabric and it could be woven in various yarns like silk (traditionally), cotton, wool, and linen as well, It is quite soft and looks extravagant.

I perceive its as an absolutely perfect choice for evening wear; because I love the way it reflects on the lighting and also creates beautiful shades of colour tone, whereas it retains the charm and subtleness.

Especially the dark green velvet dinner jacket is relatively cohesive also pretty much suitable for every skin tone.

On the other hand, we have an opulent alternative for our dinner suit jacket (tuxedo) which is also the predecessor of the contemporary classic dinner jacket made of velvet, silk, and jacquard.

The smoking jacket, however, it's a shortened version of the dressing gown (robe); the design aspect of the smoking jacket is meant to be worn around the home while you have any special occasion like a dinner party, cocktail party and such,

also, you could wear it for a black tie event as well, but before I would suggest you supposed to be aware of your host and the circumstance because it's relatively rather informal.

Therefore, back in the year, it was actually worn by gentlemen while they smoke their cigars and retreat in the smoking room after dinner; to mainly secure their dinner suit jackets from the smoking odour and ash, hence it's called the smoking jacket.

Interms of the design are always with a shawl lapel and turn-up cuffs which have silk or satin and quilted facing,

and fastening jacket with either toggle or self-covered button, besides I perceive the daintiness on the jacket as frogging which is a sort of decorative embroidery work around the lapel and cuffs also on the waist which would create an exuberantly stylish look.

Nevertheless, I would like to finish this look with a pair of black velvet slip-ons or perhaps a pair of black Belgian loafers rather than a pair of oxfords or opera pumps.

hence, we have quite a few options to dress up in the evening, especially for black-tie events or any other similar occasions (rather than a black or midnight blue tuxedo), whereas you should be aware of who invites you and what the circumstance would be.
